Sandra Guy is an artist and educator of over 35 years, and recently represented by Agora Gallery, New York from 2018 - 2023.

Sandra completed a Bachelor of Art (Visual Art), from City Art Institute, and a Master of Art from the College of Fine Art (COFA), UNSW, and has held many solo and group exhibitions, including solo exhibitions at Artifact Gallery, New York in 2022, the Tweed Regional Gallery, Murwillumbah, in 2015, the Manning Regional Gallery, Taree in 2007, and the Lewer’s Bequest and Regional Art Gallery, Emu plains in 1998, where Sandra was Artist in Residence, working and exhibiting alongside an Arthur Boyd retrospective, “Arthur Boyd, Family and Friends”.

Sandra has won many prizes, including the ‘2D Significant Art Award’ at the Stanthorpe Art Prize, 2018. She has been a finalist in the Wollumbin Art Award, the Country Energy Art Prize, the Outback Art Prize, and the Morris Art Prize.

Sandra has been the head of the creative sections at TAFE NSW at campuses including Murwillumbah, Kingscliff and Great Lakes, since 2002, and has worked as a teacher in TAFE since 1995.

Born in the USA to Australian parents, Sandra grew up in Sydney, and has lived in many beautiful regional areas of NSW, including the Snowy Mountains, the Blue Mountains, and Bluey’s Beach. Sandra has been living in the Northern Rivers region since 2002.
