This original painting, “Casuarina Development” depicts in the foreground, the development work taking place in Casuarina NSW. Close to World Heritage listed Wollumbin National Park, the painting highlights the juxtaposition of tensions between land preservation and land use in the region. The sublime sky represents the power of the natural environment and the foreground, the impact of ‘man’.
